Say goodbye to dry, itchy skin

Take a lukewarm water shower. Hot showers dehydrate your skin. Make a mixture of milk cream and turmeric and add a pinch of honey. Use this on parts of your skin that are burning. This helps get rid of red patches on your skin. Honey is easy-to-use, inexpensive remedies that can help ease itching instantly. Olive oil, avocado oil or jojoba oil penetrates deep into the skin to help heal dry, itchy skin from inside out. In addition, they do not leave an oily residue. Aloe vera is soothing, healing and moisturizing; it also helps to remove dead skin cells. Opt for fish oil pills. These pills contain omega 3 fatty acids, which is needed for healthy skin. Exfoliate your skin on a weekly basis. If applying moisturizer is not helping, may be you need to first scrub in the shower to get rid of the flaky skin. Smearing the juice of a lemon on itchy skin may cause a slight burning sensation, but the anti-flammatory and anti-fungal qualities of the juice will reduce itching.
