The terrorists have previously warned that they will not allow the election in Afghanistan to be peaceful. They said that they will attack everyone involved in the elections. There are also many allegations of rigging during the elections. Amidst all this a series of violent blasts shook Baghdad. More than fifty people were feared dead. More than 300 people were injured in the blasts. This will certainly affect normal life in the region. People living here no longer feel safe. The security forces in the country have failed miserably to prevent such incidents. People are hoping that this election will bring change to the fate of this war torn country.
